As technology’s role in society increases, people who possess a strong understanding of technology are becoming assets in almost every field. The Certificate in Information Technology (CIT) is designed primarily for those who have earned a non-technical bachelor’s degree or are under-graduates. This IT certificate allows students to augment the knowledge gained through their major-related courses with additional computer and information technology knowledge and skills to improve their attractiveness to employers in the high-technology community.
